Since this was my first interview, there's absolutely no doubt that I was indeed nervous even just hours before the event happened. But he made sure that I was comfortable and having a good time and knew what was being asked (in case I got stuck) but one of the things I loved about him the most was his patience with me. I'm not the fastest thinker out there, so when he told me that his goal was to make the experience as pleasant as possible, that brought me at ease in seconds. This interview overall was fun, lively, and definitely worth the hour of my time, which felt remarkable. I thank him again for offering me this opportunity so I can speak about my writing and what I love doing with it. Being invited to spend time with this wonderful writer was an honor and I can't wait for more doors to open up for more chances like this in the future. Even though he could tell I was nervous, after the interview, he sent me a message saying, "You were awesome." Just reading that put a smile not only on my face, but in my heart. Thank you again.
